Lost money to fraud? Start here

Lost money to fraud? Start here.

If fraud may still be happening, contact your bank or financial provider immediately through a verified number, app or branch. Secure your account and device before continuing.

You can report an incident to us, but our claims process is still being set up, so it will take longer than usual to come back to you. If money has moved, contact your bank or payment provider first, on a number you have verified yourself, they can act on your account immediately.

What to do now

Every minute counts when money is moving.

  1. Contact your bank or payment provider now

Ask them to secure the account or attempt a recall where appropriate.

  2. Secure your accounts and devices

Change compromised passwords and secure your email, phone line and device.

  3. Keep every piece of evidence

Do not delete messages, screenshots, call logs, receipts or other evidence.

  4. Report the incident to MoneyGuard

If you got MoneyGuard directly, use the MoneyGuard app or the form below. If MoneyGuard was provided by your bank, fintech or payment provider, follow their reporting route.

  5. Follow any verification steps

Complete any police, provider or identity-verification steps requested for the covered scenario.

Report a fraud incident

Tell us what happened. Report as soon as you can, you do not need every detail to start, and we will ask if we need anything else.

If money is still moving, stop here and call your bank or payment provider on a number you have verified yourself. Report to us afterwards.

Never share your PIN, password or one-time passcode, not on this form, and not with anyone who contacts you claiming to be from your bank or from Wimika.

1. About you

So we can reach you about this report.

As it appears on your account.

Include country code.

The provider the affected account is held with.

2. What happened

A short, plain description is enough. Exact figures can follow.

Leave blank if you are not sure.

An estimate is fine if you do not have the exact figure.

An account name, phone number or merchant name. Leave blank if you do not know.

3. What you have already done

Tick anything that applies. This helps us understand where your case stands.

4. Before you submit

Making a report begins an assessment. It is not a promise of payment. Whether a loss is covered depends on the fraud scenario, eligibility, reporting requirements, limits and exclusions in the applicable terms.
